Howard County Library is a vital resource for research projects, test preparation, and homework help. With a library card, students have access to numerous e-resources, such as Live Homework Help, Biography Resource Center, and Learning Express Library.

The Library also strives to make learning fun. In addition to the annual Spelling Bee, the Library hosts several contests to showcase student talent, such as the Howard County Library Spelling Bee and Battle of the Books.
