Summer Reading Kickoff
Saturday, June 1, 2013; 10 am - 2 pm
Howard County Library, Miller Branch

Kick off summer reading on Saturday, June 1 at Miller Branch. Sign up for a summer reading club and participate in a day of fun including children's stories, face painting, crafts, and activities for children, teens, and adults. Library staff will be on hand to recommend great books for teens and adults.

Wee Dig: infant - age 3
Dig into Reading: for ages 4 - 10
Groundbreaking Reads: for grades 6+
Great Reads for Vaycay and Staycay

Reptile Wonders: The Nature Center on the Go
Visit this educational exhibit of live reptiles which includes a giant tortoise. Touch some of the exotic reptiles. Hand sanitizer provided.

Pee Wee Pirates Show 
Ahoy! Sail the high seas with Captain Jean, the pirate queen. No landlubbers allowed as you learn about exploration in the old days. A fun workout for brains and bodies alike! 45 min; followed by questions & answers. Videotaping not permitted.
