2015 Summer Reading : Wee Heroes (Ages birth to 5)   Translations: CHINESE / KOREAN / SPANISH

It's never too early to show your baby books and talk about the pictures. Cuddle your child on your lap and look at books together.  Your child will feel safe, happy, and also learn that looking at pictures and listening to stories are fun. Or try our interactive e-books for kids.

Children from birth to age 5 can develop a love of language by being read to. Win a prize when you complete activities on the Wee Heroes Summer Reading Club game board.

  • Let your older baby turn the pages in a board book.
  • Young children love repetition. Read favorites again and again.
  • Carry books with you to read while waiting in lines or at an office.
  • Make reading a special part of your daily activities.
  • Books with words that rhyme appeal to children.
  • Choose books about everyday events that happen in your family.
