Is Your Jewelry Box or Your Attic Really a Treasure Chest?
Not sure of the value of Grandma's china or your great-uncle's watch? Learn what to look for in family treasures, including jewelry, coins, watches, paintings, furniture, glass, china, gold, and silver. Gemologist Steve Gouterman and appraiser Todd Peenstra discuss the current market for these objects, how value is determined, and the best places to liquidate if you wish to sell.

Steve Gouterman has been buying and selling diamonds, precious metals, coins and timepieces since 1980. His experiences include import/export, wholesale and retail. He is the owner of Paradigm Experts, which specializes in working privately with clients and their families on strategic sales of their estate and antique jewelry, gems, and coins–specifically determining how to maximize value.

Through the years, Todd Peenstra has worked with both world-renowned collectors and first-time art and antiques buyers. To each he brings knowledge, perspective and insight, tailoring his advice to meet specific needs and wishes. Todd is also a candidate member of the International Society of Appraisers.

In partnership with Howard County Historical Society.
