Mobile Game
Join the HiTech Mobile Game Design Team that will conceptualize and design a mobile game app, as well as create sound effects. The HiTech Team will meet seven times to create the game and sounds. Ages 11-18. Registration required.

During the sixth session in the series, The HiTech Team will meet to collaborate on sound effects, final concepts and actions, wireframes, and more.

The seventh session will be scheduled after the preliminary design is completed.

Technology of Fashion
Come join us in this series of classes where fashion design and technology are woven together. This is a ten class series where you learn about the fashion industry from concept to delivery, the role of science, and how to use technology that creates selected outfits and original fashion design ideas. Please bring fashion magazines or pictures of fashion you like, or bring PDF images on a thumbdrive. Ages 11-18.

In the final sessions, the student HiTech team will collaborate with each other to create their final portfolio, photo shoot, and more.

Hands-Only CPR
Brad Tanner, from Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, teaches the basics of adult CPR and the warning signs for sudden cardiac arrest. He also discusses the functions of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Participants are required to practice the Hands-Only CPR method on the provided mannequins as they are assisted by the instructor.

This course is intended for all ages and recommended for individuals who wish to learn the basics of CPR. Registration required. A Well & Wise event.

Note: Hands-Only CPR is a basic course and is designed to be performed without a CPR card. As a result, a CPR card is not issued upon course completion.
