- Requestable Online: Yes, with a DIY card. Select DIY at Elkridge Branch as the pickup location. Items are held for 3 days.
- Overdue Fines: $2 per day, $30 maximum; seniors exempt
Glenwood Makerspace Borrowing Information

- Borrowing Limit: 1 item maximum

- Hold Limit: 1 request per customer
- Requestable Online: No, but customers can phone Glenwood to check availability

Special Instructions
Elkridge DIY Center
- 21 years and older with a DIY library card.
- The DIY library card must be renewed every year and may only be used to borrow items from the DIY Education Center.
- A liability waiver and release must be signed as part of the initial card application, and again each year thereafter.
Glenwood Makerspace
- 13 years and older.
- Not available to these special borrowers: DIY cards.

- Request by phone, in person, or online by selecting Elkridge Branch as the pickup location.
- DIY materials will not be sent to other HCLS branches for pickup.
Glenwood Makerspace
- Call Glenwood Branch to check availability.
- Sewing machines will not be sent to other HCLS branches for pickup.

- Pick up at the Desk of the DIY Education Center at Elkridge Branch.
- Clean before returning.
- Return to the Elkridge DIY Education Center.
- Returned items will be inspected for missing or damaged parts before being cleared from your account.
- Do not return to a book drop, other HCLS branch, or other library system in Maryland.
Glenwood Makerspace
- Clean before returning.
- Return to the Glenwood Branch Desk.
- Do not return to a book drop, other HCLS branch, or other library system in Maryland.
- Lost or stolen items: Full replacement cost + $4 fee.
- Missing parts: Cost varies.
- No replacements accepted for lost, damaged, or incomplete items.
