About Our Collection
The Library is committed to providing everyone with materials, resources, and services. Our collection includes large print books, audiobooks, captioned DVDs, and American Sign Language videos. We also provide sign language interpreters for our classes and events, upon request.
If you can’t find what you want – ask us. If it is not in our collection, we’ll try to find a way to get it for you.
We strive to recognize the local literary and creative efforts of Howard County authors by providing them the opportunity to share their work with other county residents through the Howard County Author Collection. For a title to be included in the Howard County Author Collection, the author must currently reside or work in Howard County, and the author must be willing to donate one or more copies of the title to their local branch. Please fill out this form and submit it with your donation at your nearest branch. Works of local authors are added only if these materials meet general selection criteria and donations are not returned.
