Organizations which serve children, adults over 65 years of age, or persons with disabilities may apply for easier access to library materials, a staff Liaison, and extended borrowing privileges.

Satellite Collection Card Details

Satellite Collections are a special organizational loaning arrangement at Howard County Library System designed to make library materials more easily accessible to your organization by providing your organization with a library card and extended privileges.

Loan Period: 42 Days for most materials. Fiction DVDs may be borrowed for seven days.
Borrowing Limit: 100 items. 50 items & 10 DVDs per pickup
Renewals: 2 automatic renewals on eligible items, if not requested by another community member
Loss & Damage: Replacement costs will be charged.
