Register your team and begin planning for the season.

Before registering, make sure you have:

• Students full name
• Parent/guardian email & phone number
• Coach email, phone number, & mailing address
• Team name or placeholder name
• School or homeschool organization information

Attendance at one coach meeting is required. Coaches receive important program information and can pick up the official book set for their team

Teams read the official books, meet regularly, and prepare for competition.

Teams are encouraged to:

• Discuss books together
• Hold practice battles
• Build team spirit
• Design posters
• Create costumes
• Prepare for competition day

Meet featured authors, participate in discussions and Q&A sessions, and celebrate reading with other Battle of the Books participants.
